Staffan Skogby

Staffan Skogby leads Pictor Consulting's engineering practice and is the senior practitioner on most engagements, from first architecture discussion to accepted safety and security evidence.

His work covers system architecture for large embedded systems, functional safety analysis and the safety case work that has to survive an assessor. He has held the roles of system architect, functional safety specialist and Safety Officer in both industrial programmes and European research consortia, including system safety management for 5G advanced network architecture in small cell systems.

On Cyber Resilience Act work he focuses on the part manufacturers usually underestimate: turning the regulation's essential requirements into development lifecycle processes, vulnerability handling and technical documentation that can actually be produced and maintained by the team that owns the product.
